We have a Shepard mix that is just over a year old that we adopted from the shelter when he was about 14 weeks. We trained him to the best of our abilities. When we decided he needed fine tuning (he was too friendly with dogs, couldn't have him off leash, no reliable recall) we took him to Blue Phantom Dog Training. We dropped him off for the 3 week board and train and an extra week for off leash recall with the ecollar training. Needless to say when we did our first visit he was so much better just after 2 weeks!! When we brought him home he surpassed all expectations we had of him!! He is so much more confident and eager to listen! We could tell how much Ashley truly loves what she does, not to mention that she is phenomenal at working with these pups! She is always able to reach even after the training which is a huge bonus!!

Fantastic experience with Blue Phantom Dog Training. I have 2 very big, very challenging dogs and I was feeling frustrated that I couldn’t control them. I have so much more confidence now, my dogs are much better behaved, and I learned so much. Private lessons were priceless and I look forward to many happy years with well trained pups!

Best decision I have made for my Frenchie and our family!! Beast was always excited jumping on company that came over, and he barked all the time. It was stressful to take him on walks as he would bark at everything, not listen, and began showing aggressive behaviors towards other dogs. I was recommended to this company by a friend who had their dog go through the basic obedience class. I was extremely nervous to take him with the other dogs. Ashley was amazing and helped ease my anxiety and made the experience better than I expected. I learned so much about communicating with my dog and gaining control. We had a resource guarding problem with our 9 month old Border Collie puppy, so I set up several consultations with different trainers in the area. Our 2nd of 6 was with Ashley. After talking with her, we cancelled our other meetings because we knew it was a match! She was most concerned about our dog's well-being and even gave us tips for selecting a balanced training program for him. Even if we didn't select her program, she wanted what was best for our boy. I'm so glad we made the choice to go with Blue Phantom. It's been a total transformation in just a few weeks. He went from no socialization and no confidence to a very good boy in our house AND out in the world. Ashley was wonderful to work with. She sent awesome updates throughout the process and even brought us along to work with him in several settings. I look forward to continuing classes and activities with Blue Phantom.
